Congratulations to Richard

Richard Dodd has worked on a number of Chat Noir productions, acting in our Film and TV titles (Dreamscape and playing Richard III in Sandal Castle & the Battle of Wakefield) and most recently in U.T.D. for the Lantern Project charity.

Richard has just been nominated as Best Supporting Actor for his theatre work and we hope he gets the recognition he so richly deserves. Read more here.

Richard asked Chat Noir to film him performing a scene from one of his previous theatre productions. Watch it here:

I'm the Urban Spaceman

On 13th of October, Chat Noir Productions were filming a multi-camera shoot at the Epstein Theatre, Liverpool. Below is an excerpt from the edited recording of the show "Sir Henry at Rawlinson End" featuring Neil Innes singing I'm the Urban Spaceman.

Raising Awareness with the Lantern Project

Chat Noir Productions have been awarded Best Social Awareness film at the Wirral International Film Festival for their work on U.T.D. (Unstructured Therapeutic Disclosure). This film was made for the Lantern Project, a Wirral-based charity that helps people who have suffered abuse to become survivors instead of victims.

Special thanks to the great actors involved in this project: Richard Dodd, Harry Carmichael, Steve Lofthouse, Mike Lockley. Bravery award to Gary and Alan, who shared their harrowing stories for this film.
