The film was shot in two blocks, the first six hours, with a second block a week later of two hours for pickups. Chat Noir used a Sony PMW-EX1, shooting 1080p HQ, with sticks and a wally dolly. The decision was also taken to shoot the film in 2.35 ratio, to give the full wide-screen effect.

Sci-Fi and Fantasy's latest issue includes an article on the props of Dreamscape.

Chester Odeon

CNP Films are happy to be part of Chester Film Co-op's project. For those outside of the north-west, Chester's Odeon has been closed for some years and is soon to become a cultural centre. Before it is changed, the cinema itself will become the location for an exciting new film.

Dreamscape at the Festival of Fantastic Films

Earlier today, Dreamscape screened at this year's Festival of Fantastic Films held at The Manchester Conference Centre, Sackville St., Manchester. 

2009 is the 20th year the festival has run and  guests in attendance included: Emily Booth, John Carson, Jenny Hanley, John Hough, Ian McCulloch, Derren Nesbitt and Peter Sasdy.

MJ Simpson Reviews Dreamscape Extended Cut

Dreamscape was first reviewed by journalist M. J. Simpson in 2008, when the film had a running time of 64 minutes. This review can be found at:

Drone Puppet Article in Sci-Fi and Fantasy!

Sci-Fi and Fantasy Modeller volume 10 carries an in-depth article on the making of the Drone puppet head used in Dreamscape.

Dreamscape takes a Best Feature Film Award!

Dreamscape screened today at the first Wirral International Film Festival in Birkenhead. During the night's award ceremony, Dreamscape was awarded Best Feature Film.

Organised by Phil Bimpson and Alan Veste of Vesbim Productions, the event brought together film-makers, actors, family and friends from across the Wirral.

Dreamscape Scores a Major Award!

Joseph A. Fox's brilliant score to Dreamscape has just won BEST FEATURE SCORE at the Second Annual Goldspirit Awards / Jerry Goldsmith Award for Young Film and Audiovisual Composers.

Joseph was the only UK composer to reach the finals in this competition.

Vendetta is the Best Short Film in New York!

vENDETTA has taken the award for Best Short Film at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival 2004! Three members of the production team travelled over to enjoy the event.
